Wall Twp NJ 3rd Alm Allaire Airport 07-27-96

Following a severe thunderstorm that rolled through the area, Glendola Fire Co of Wall Twp. NJ was dispatched to Allaire Airport for a reported fire, on arrival co's found a large wood frame warehouse @75' X 250' fully involved, a township wide general alarm was sounded bringing West Belmar and South Wall fire co's to the scene. Co's were hampered by limited access and a limited water supply on the airport property, the fire was place under control after about 1 hour of exterior firefighting, the building was a total loss and no exposures were damaged.
