Clifton NJ 2nd alarm 79 Knapp Ave. 12-23-16

At approximately 22:25 on December 23rd 2016, Clifton firefighters responded to 79 Knapp Ave. for a reported house fire, as the 1st due engine approached the scene they reported heavy smoke in the area quickly followed by the report of a working fire in a 2 story frame with fire showing from the attic. The truck company opened the roof as an aggressive attack was made on the fire, several lines were put into operation with units reporting heavy fire. The main body of fire was knocked down within 30 minutes and after extensive overhaul and opening up the fire fire was placed under control at 23:30.
