Totowa NJ 2nd Alarm, 136 Sutton Ave. 01-25-16

At 15:30 hours on the afternoon of January 25th, 2016, Totowa Fire Dept responded to 136 Sutton Ave for a report of a house fire. On arrival companies found heavy fire in the attached garage and heavy smoke pushing from the rest of the home, a 1-1/2 story frame ranch, with a report of an elderly woman possibly trapped, she was quickly found and removed out the rear door by firefighters with no injuries. Command requested a 2nd alarm as the fire spread through the home and broke through the roof. The fire was brought under control an hour and half later at 17:00, no injuries were reported and although the fire appears to have started in the garage, it is under investigation.
