Fair Lawn NJ 2nd alarm Knights of Columbus Hall, 16-16 Maple Ave. 06-27-17

At 23:15 on June 28th 2017, Fair Lawn Fire Dept was requested for a fire at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 16-16 Maple Ave. Co's arrived and reported a working fire in the rear of the building and requested a 2nd alarm which brought mutual aid to the scene and for cover. Several lines were advanced into the building and the fire was quickly extinguished with no injuries, however damage was severe enough to force the building to be uninhabitable until repairs are made. The cause of the fire was determined to be arson as an unknown person or persons through a molitov cocktail through a window for an unknown motive. The investigation is still underway.
