Paterson NJ 3rd Alm, 248 12th Ave. 07-11-17

At just before 00:30 on July 11th, 2017, Paterson Fire Dispatch transmitted the box for a possible building fire in the area of 12th Ave & Madison Ave. Upon arrival co's reported a working fire in a large 3.5 story frame OMD and a 2nd alarm was requested by BC-2. As co's advanced lines and reported exposure issues a 3rd alarm was requested by Deputy 2, Chief Calamita less than 10 minutes after the original box. The actual address was 248 12th Ave, the Delta exposure which was a 2 story brick was checked and found to be clear with no extension, with multiple lines working, co's were making progress. At 01:10 DC 2 reported most visible fire had been knocked down and all hands continuing to work with extensive overhaul. The fire was placed under control at 02:30 with companies continuing to perform overhaul, 14 residents were displaced and no injuries were reported, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
