Fair Lawn NJ 2nd alarm, 9-14 Bellair Ave. 12-7-18

At approximately 16:45 on December 7th 2018, Fair Lawn Fire Dept was dispatched for reports of a house fire at 9-14 Bellair Ave. Upon arrival of the 1st arriving chied he reported heavy smoke and fire showing from the 1st floor of a 2.5 story dwelling and requested a 2nd alarm. Several hand lines were stretched and the main body of fire was knocked down in 20 minutes with co's overhauling. The fire was placed under control and co's were picking up in under 2 hours. While a restoration crew was on the scene boarding up the home they noticed some smoke in the structure and the fire dept responded back for a rekindle which was quickly knocked down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
