Hackensack NJ 2nd alarm, 240 Lodi St, 02-12-18

In the early morning hours of February 12th 2018, Hackensack NJ Fire Dept received a call reporting a smoke condition in the area of Lodi St & McKinley St at 04:19 hours. Moments later HPD reported fire showing from the roof of 240 Lodi St and on arrival DC-4, Deputy Chief Kalman reported a working fire in a 1 story commercial building. Co's forced entry as fire was showing from the roof across the entire front of the building. At 04:30 a 2nd alarm was requested, several hand lines were stretched into the building where co's found heavy fire in a mezzanine located above the office area. At 05:17 command reported all visible fire knocked down and at 06:04, placed under control. No injuries were reported and the cause is believed to be electrical.
