Fair Lawn NJ 2nd alarm, 6-09 Fair Lawn Ave. 08-18-20

At just around 04:30 on August 18th, 2020, Fair Lawn Fire Dept was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 6-09 Fair Lawn Ave. Co's were advised of smoke showing while enroute and upon arrival heavy smoke was showing from the 1 story restaurant. Co's forced entry and stretched lines into the building looking for the seat of the fire. A 2nd alarm was requested which brought mutual aid to the scene and for cover. At one pint fire broke through the roof but with an aggressive offensive attack the companies were able to get to the seat of the fire and knock it down. With a lot of opening up and overhaul the fire was placed under control around 07:00
