Bergenfield NJ 2nd alarm, 141 N. Prospect Ave. 09-03-21

At just before 06:00 on September 3rd 2021, the Bergenfield NJ Fire Dept responded for a reported house fire at 141 N. Prospect Ave. On arrival co's encountered the 2nd floor of the 2.5 story frame fully involved with heavy fire blowing out almost every window. A 2nd alarm was requested as co's quickly hit the fire from the exterior before making a push into the 2nd floor. The fire extended into the attic however all visible fire was knocked down in approximately 45 minutes and the fire declared under control in just over an hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
