Fair Lawn NJ 3rd alarm, 41-77 Rys Terrace. 08-07-15

At approximately 15:45 on August 7th 2015, Fair Lawn Fire Dept responded for a reported house fire on Rys Terrace, on arrival the 1st chief requested a 2nd alarm for an outside fire between 2 houses with extension into both homes. Companies mounted an aggressive offensive attack in both buildings and were able to quickly knock down the heavy fire. Both homes sustained moderate damage, much of on the exterior. No injuries were reported and the fire was placed under control at around 16:45 with companies remaining on the scene for extensive overhaul. A 3rd alarm was requested for manpower.
